Nightwater 1.0 Biomes & Regions
The released Steam achievement list names six regional milestone groups: Forest, Mountains, Desert, Snowy Hills, Volcano and Starlight Fields. It also names entering the Factory as a separate objective; that alone does not classify Factory as another biome. Expand the island with the Manifester and follow the requirements shown in your current game. The Woods and Dark Thicket are historical official demo names retained on existing guides; this wiki does not assume an exact rename without direct evidence.

Use each region's discovery and mastery pair
For every listed region, Steam distinguishes finding all Milestone Items from completing them. When exploring a new area, discovery broadens your options; later gathering and automation can continue its completion track.
Expand for a resource or an activity
Use the Manifester when your next goal needs another area. Compare new gathering options with minigame access and exploration clues. The official store promises different regional resources, but it does not publish a complete location-by-material table.
Match minigame labels to the region
Steam achievement objectives name Forest, Mountains, Desert, Snowy Hills and Volcano minigames. Those are safe descriptive labels. They do not establish that every region has exactly one minigame or that Starlight Fields has a sixth one.
Keep old demo routes useful
The existing Woods and Mountains guides retain their URLs. Their historical demo evidence is marked separately from the 1.0 achievement index, so links and player bookmarks keep working without implying that the Mountains remain a demo-only preview.
