Nightwater Resources & Material Progression

Start by separating overworld materials from currencies earned inside minigames. The official store advertises more than 20 resources, while Steam objectives name Wood Dust and Coins in their minigame contexts. Dusk Gold now has a source-backed detail record: 1.0.12 moved it higher in the Mine. Historical screenshot entries remain labeled separately, and the database does not invent a recipe or automation machine for every named resource.

Named entries and what each is for

Current achievement evidence and historical screenshot evidence are separated below. This is a partial index, not all 20+ overworld resources.

Oak Wood

The screenshot names Oak Wood during a tree interaction. Confirm its current milestone and uses in your build; no yield or recipe is inferred.

Wood Dust

Track it inside the Forest Minigame; its name alone does not make it an overworld crafting ingredient.

Quartz Ore

The illustrated milestone links Quartz Ore to Simple Jetpack. Read your 1.0 milestone panel before committing resources.

Stone Gear

The current Mine bottleneck

Searching for Yellow Stone? The developer's response identifies Dusk Gold, and its location changed after launch. Use the problem guide for acquisition checks or the database record for field-level evidence.

Find the source before expanding consumption

When a craft is short of an input, inspect the resource source and the handoff to its consumer. Extra assemblers can increase demand without increasing supply. Use your current inventory and milestone panels to identify the material, then decide whether to gather manually or automate that source.

Read milestones per resource

The official store ties resource milestones to buildings, crafts and buffs. A newly discovered material can open a different progression track from a familiar resource you have already gathered heavily. Compare the next reward before allocating your whole line to one stockpile.

Keep minigame balances separate

Wood Dust and Coins are named in minigame achievement objectives. Their existence does not establish a recipe, exchange rate or overworld storage behavior. Track the corresponding minigame and its current upgrade screen instead of adding these balances to a factory-input calculation.

Choose the next material by the next craft

Write down the missing input from the selected recipe, then trace it back to a source, processor or unlock. This makes a resource checklist actionable: each entry explains a blocked craft or milestone rather than merely recording a large collection.

Put the plan to work

Track discovered resources, observed milestone progress and known unlocks while unknown thresholds stay unknown.
