Production Chain Guide

Model a Nightwater chain from source to destination, showing gathering, transport, storage and processing as separate jobs. Start with the output you need, read its current recipe and work backward to missing inputs. This makes an idle assembler or growing buffer easier to explain. The official store confirms the connected systems but does not provide the complete recipe and rate data needed to claim an optimal universal machine ratio.

Work backward from the output

Identify every input and where it comes from. Add only the stages needed for that output; an input from another resource or minigame needs its own branch.

Watch each transfer

Check gathering reaches transport, transport reaches the receiver and output reaches its destination. Put a buffer where it makes an interruption visible.

Keep observations with the graph

Record build, starting stock and test duration beside any measured rate. The local planner preserves your graph without promoting your observations into official values.

Put the plan to work

Create source, building and storage nodes, connect the flow, record observed rates and find disconnected stages.
