Nightwater 1.0 FAQ

Nightwater is available on Steam for Windows, with a September 18, 2026 release date, 40 Steam achievements and 13 listed languages. It is a single-player resource and automation game with five optional minigames and four endings. If you are new, begin with gathering and resource milestones before growing one working factory line. Price depends on region and date, and Steam Cloud support does not itself prove demo-save compatibility. The questions below lead to the page that owns each specific topic.

Can I use my old save or controller?

Steam lists Cloud, but Cloud synchronization and demo conversion are separate capabilities. We have not verified a developer transfer statement in the retrieved primary sources. Steam metadata lists controller support; current device behavior and default bindings should be checked in-game.

What should I do first?

Gather toward one visible milestone reward, build one supplied machine and connect a working output. Expand after you know what the next area will help you accomplish. Avoid building processors before you have their inputs.

Must I finish every minigame and ending?

The store explicitly calls the minigames and story optional. The four-ending goal is a completion objective beyond simply finishing. The achievements page separates ordinary goals from spoiler-bearing exploration and ending objectives.
